NORMA F (MCMONAGLE) STACY Obituary (1945

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Norma F Stacy. Norma passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on June 1, 2016. Norma was born February 6, 1945 in Moville, County Donegal, Ireland to John & Margaret McMonagle. She was the second child in a family of 12 children. At the age of 20, Norma moved to the US to become a nanny. Soon after she met and married the love of her life Dean Stacy of Eureka, Montana. Dean & Norma travelled to many locations throughout their life together but called Eureka home. They had 3 children, Dean Alan, Anthony (Tony) & Norma Jean. Norma loved camping, playing cards, crafts and being with family and friends. She was a strong & beautiful woman inside and out. Her Irish roots ran deep and she lived life to the fullest. She was always there to help and listen to anyone who needed her and never backed down from a fight. Her heart was pure gold. Her last few years were fought with determination and strength. She faced her battles head on, never giving up. To the end she was strong, courageous and full of love for her family. She was a true Irish Rose. Norma is survived by her husband of 49 years Dean Stacy and children Tony ( Chrystal ) Stacy of Eureka and Norma Jean Stacy, two grandchildren Dalton ( Brittany ) Stacy and Dante Stacy all from Eureka. Brothers John ( Ann) McMonagle of Ireland, Colm McMonagle of Ireland, Tony ( Wavey) McMonagle of Newfoundland, Gary ( Margaret ) McMonagle of Ireland, Glen ( Elizabeth ) McMonagle of Ireland and Ivor McMonagle of Ireland. Sisters Anita ( Dai ) Shaffe of England and Lorraine McMonagle of England. She is preceded in death by her son Dean Alan Stacy, Mother and Father John and Margaret McMonagle, Sisters Sandra McMonagle and Rae Margaret McMonagle and Brother Martin McMonagle. Funeral service will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Eureka. Viewing and Rosary will be Friday June 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Viewing 3:00 to 6:00 and Rosary at 6:00. Interment will be at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.
