Marcia Karen Ellingson Obituary Marcia Karen Ellingson was born August 13, 1959. She died peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father John M. Ellingson and her sister Teresa M. Clinton. Now that daddy has his two little girls, heaven and will never be the same. She is survived, and will be missed dearly by her mother Mary A. Ellingson, brother Dennis M. Ellingson (Mary), sons Gabriel A. Layton, Anthony T. Layton (Shauna), David A. Rockow Jr., numerous nieces and nephew's as well as her four-legged, furry friend, Ollie. Our little, redheaded, freckled-face girl grew up in Eureka and attended Lincoln County High School. She graduated in 1977. Marcia had a varied career with jobs around the Northwest before she ultimately settled into her 26 year position as Executive Secretary for Lincoln Electric. She was the go-to-person, known for her knowledge, motivation and punctuality. Marcia was an accomplished musician with a lovely voice. In high school she was selected to represent the United States in a national choral group that toured throughout Europe. Marcia loved conversation like she loved her coffee, the more scoops the better. She was a master of mixology with a doctorate in listening. With her distinctive laugh and fun loving spirit, she was always willing to lend an ear to friends far and near. Marcia looked forward to being a grandmother and meeting her granddaughter in early August. Services were held at our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
