Dorothy J. Peterson, 84, of Libby died Monday October 13, 2014 at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby from natural causes. Dorothy was born June 4, 1930 in Rochester, NY. Dorothy grew up and attended school in Rochester. From there Dorothy lived in numerous places around the country which included Chicago, Green Valley, AZ and finally Libby. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and fishing. Her son Lawrence preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband Jim Winslow, of Troy, MT; son Steve Cichosz (Darcee) of Libby, MT; granddaughters Melissa Cichosz and Caroline Buckner (Ron) both of Libby, MT; 5 great grandchildren Makayla, Nicholas, Bradley, Jordyn, and Gage; and stepchildren Carmen, Paul and Lisa Winslow. Memorials may be given to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Private family services will be held.
