DOROTHY T (TEEL) HARLESS Obituary (1921

On March 23rd, 2015, Dorothy Teel Harless, age 93, stepped into eternity. She was a resident of Mountain View Manor in Eureka, Montana. She would have been 94 on April 4, 2015. She was born to Oscar Frank Teel and Anna Shaw Teel in Eureka, Montana on April 4th, 1921. She attended the Eureka schools through grade ten. She finished high school in Spokane, WA, graduating from Lewis and Clark High School in 1939. She attended Washington State University and worked for many years at the Hanford Project in Richland, WA, retiring in 1984. She also worked for Pancho Barnes during WWII at her ranch, the Oro Verde, near Edwards Air Force Base in California. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred, a brother, Arthur Teel Russell, a sister, Ella West, a grandson , Kevin Adams, nephews Jerry Russell, Stanley Russell, and David West. She is survived by a daughter, Ella Adams of Driggs, Idaho; a son, James Harless of Richland, Wash.; three grandchildren, Wallis Adams of Anchorage, Alaska ; Anna Adams of Victor, Idaho; John Adams of Waikoloa, HI; nephews Frank West of Salem, OR, Neil West of Blaine, WA; Alan West of Eureka, MT; Tom Russell of Grand Forks, ND; George Russell of Mills, WY; and several grand nieces and nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. At the request of the deceased no services will be held. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.
