DOROTHY E (BERLIN) DANIELS Obituary (1931

Dorothy E. Daniels, 83, died on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Mountain View Manor in Eureka. She was born on June 14, 1931 at Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Evelyn Berlin. She grew up and attended schools in Chicago, and graduated from high school in 1949. Dorothy married Eugene Paul Daniels in 1950, and they had 5 children. She was a stay at home mom who loved doing crafts and she was very independent. She lived in Bakersfield, California for 25 years, and moved to Eureka three years ago to be near her daughter. Dorothy enjoyed quilting, sewing, ceramics, painting, cooking and baking. She was preceded in death by a son Michael. Survivors include her children, Marie Covello, Bakersfield, Calif.; Margaret Butts, Eureka, Mont.; Marilyn Powell, Beavertown, Penn.; and Ric Daniels, Hawaii. Private family services are being held.
