ANNA B (TOLAN) CHRISTOPHERSON Obituary (1929

Anna B. Christopherson, 87, of Libby, MT passed away November 19, 2016 at the Libby Care Center. She was born May 24, 1929 in Oswego, MT to Nels and Margaret (Bensch) Tolan. She grew up and attended school in Oswego. On May 24, 1956, Anna married Russell Christopherson in Wolf Point, MT. They made their home in Great Falls, where they lived until 1992, at which time they moved to Libby. While in Great Falls, she worked as a janitor in businesses there. Anna enjoyed gardening and she loved the mountains and cats. Anna and Russell had celebrated 60 years of marriage. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce; a daughter, Karen; and a brother, Victor. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Russell Christopherson of Libby; 2 grandsons Josh Amato of Libby and Reed Pitman of Deer Lodge, MT; great-grandchild Collin Amato of Libby; son-in-law Lance Kaldor of Boise, ID; and brother Jack Tolan of Great Falls, MT. There will be no public services. Memorials may be made to Kootenai Pets for Life. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory.
